i think its too late now
so that its no more fun
to stand in the rain anymore
its too late to get wet
thinking of her getting wet
with me...
together in the rain.
its fun
to stand like this
with the sun between my legs
kind of cozy
feeling the warmth between parted thighs
he comes like spring, softly
and then at a rush
beads of my existance scatter
its good
oh so good
to roll between his legs...
what did she tell him?
now that dreams lie broken like dolls in her attic..
what did she say
when he was like a child
chewing silence like gum?

they brought in the boat

looked out, sad yet watchful

waves lapped their feet prising sand away from under their heels.

dunes on dunes

crest topped with foam

they carried a witness amongst them

wouldn't speak, wouldn't cry

wouldn't turn back...

a shadow registers

gulls passing convict imaginations

eyes rinsed with brine

eyes raised with brine

to search once more the fluid horizon of hope...

first things

as night you will climb the skies
whispering disembodied winds
will lap your gaunt skull
as a foetus you will banish the first groping hands
your arms supine sharing my bed...a bed perhaps a womb...a coffin..
where nocturnal rites make noise like the first gravel.
your cry carrying the first flood at the larynx of dawn.

old, old chinese mingled in your shadows
chasing itself into dream depths
festoons fading in the rays of your childtime embrace
a change of line and motion within the hours of your eyes.
it's easy to dream... but i have nightmares.

..more dreads and memories as the banyan grows.. evolves in the species flora to be just that, a banayan.
evolution demands that of all, to survive, to find a way to seek the light and hang on to it, coz a lot is lost in the darkness of doubt.
banyans dont doubt.
its good to be passionate, its correct and educated. coz the other end can't afford passion..they can afford frenzy. always an alpha to the omega.
it's old hat.. dialectics.
eid and the b'day of gandhi has strangely affected me. wasn't even aware of it..
gandhi was a banyan.

crashing around

..cummings came before me and he's still cummings.., i came later..much! that said, its one more key to tap.
the day being the mahatma's b'day and eid tout ensemble, made eating meat a matter of taste..lucky that the lady of the house cooked from 4am and brilliantly, the love was palpable..
its also my first day first show, blog.
something to it.. writers need to be hungry to feel the edge.. and i am full..
